Diane Tygier's work has been described as fresh, open,
immediate, lively and graceful. Her works are recognized
and praised by numerous collectors as well as garnering
awards around the world. In each of her paintings she tries
to convey harmony, serenity and peace.
Her art education began at the University of Minnesota
with follow up classes at Fordham University in New York
as well as private classes with noted watercolorists Edgar
Whitney, Carl Burger and Shirley Elmer.
For many years Diane and her former business partner
owned and operated TYGIER KNIGHT GALLERIES
on Royal Street in the French Quarter, New Orleans.
